Mark is the owner and broker of Southern Land &
Realty (SL&R), a full service real estate company located in Americus since
1992. In 2003 he was awarded the highly regarded Accredited Land Consultant (ALC)
designation which recognizes his years of experience and expertise in the
area of land brokerage. Mark's commitment to excellent service and
leadership extends to the greater Americus community as well. He is
a past president of the Americus Board of Realtors and was selected as
1993 Realtor of the Year. Mark serves also as a Trustee of the
Georgia Southwestern Foundation and is immediate past president of the
Kiwanis Club of Americus. |

 Kay
is an Americus native and Georgia Southwestern State University graduate who
returned to Americus in 1998. Her background is in marketing and public
relations and, in 2008, she was awarded the Accredited Home-Staging Specialist
(AHS) designation allowing her to better serve current and prospective home
sellers by showcasing their homes for maximum impact. Kay loves to garden and
has a strong commitment to historic preservation. She is a board member of the
Sumter Historic Trust and served as chairman of the annual Tour of Homes in
2005-2006. She is a past president of the Early Bloomers garden club and
currently serves as Recording Secretary. |
 Charles
grew up in Americus and graduated from the University of the South in Sewanee,
TN. He later studied historic preservation at the University of Georgia and has
bought and renovated a number of historic houses and buildings in Americus. He
is a past president and board member of the Sumter Historic Trust and currently
serves on the Trust Revolving Fund committee. Charles is a member of the
Americus Rotary Club and serves as a director of the Americus Board of Realtors. |

 Carey,
an Americus native, graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2003 with a
degree in building construction management. He received his real estate license
in 2006 and joined SL&R as sales associate. His knowledge and practical
experience in construction is ideal for working with both buyers and sellers.
He participates in the Sumter County Schools Mentor Program and is a member of
the Americus Rotary Club. Carey serves also as a Director on the Americus
Board of Realty. |
 Lauren
moved to South Georgia from Athens in 2002 after marrying Clark Snipes of
Richland; they have a beautiful daughter, Mary Anna. Lauren is a University of
Georgia graduate with a degree in Home Economics Education. Her family is very
involved at Cornerstone Church in Americus. Lauren also enjoys working to bring
greater nutritional and wellness exposure and resources to our area. Her love of
historical architecture and interior design, combined with her enthusiasm for
giving outstanding customer service makes for a great working relationship. |
